LONDON - IT research firm Gartner revealed Asus currently works much better than Dell in notebook shipments to Europe.
Gartner said penggiriman Asus to Europe grew by 20 percent and rank third for Taiwanese vendors by market share in Western Europe by 10.6 percent or mengalakan share Dell's only 9.8 percent.
For the top market share in Western Europe are still dominated Hawlet Packard (HP) with the percentage of 23 percent, followed by Acer with a share of 15 percent.
However, overall notebook shipments to Western Europe actually experienced decreases of up to 11.4 percent compared to last year.
"Inventory stock notebook accumulate during the last four quarters and most can only be sold in the third quarter in 2011," said Mieke Escherich, an analyst at Gartner, told PC Pro, Tuesday (11/15/2011).
"Results in the third quarter of 2011 became a very pleasant reading for the notebook industry. In the third quarter is traditionally a quarter of the desire of consumers to buy notebooks rose, driven by the return of school time," he concluded.
